Luke's Special Day.

It was Luke's birthday yesterday. I can not believe that he is now five years old. He had a lovely day. He woke up at about 6 am - and had his snuggle with me. Anna-Kate joined us and told him that you actually received presents on your birthday so we rushed downstairs and had a paper ripping time ! Yes I know all his presents were wrapped up with Christmas paper - but it was all I had on Saturday afternoon when my family went swimming so I could wrap the presents !! The only cloud on the day was when he started to cry as he thought we had missed his party ! We quickly explained that his party is on Saturday !!

Spring is on its way !

Well I can dream !!

I noticed my first snow drop in my garden. I planted all the bulbs in October. I have a mixture of bulbs growing in my front garden, tulips, daffodils, snowdrops and more I can not wait until they are all out !

Crochet Butterfly

A funny looking butterfly I whipped up for Anna-Kate as she has been a big help today!

The Holiday in Devon

Anna-Kate and Luke on the stairs at the Hostel in Devon. There was a huge staircase.
Great fun was had by all. They had two parties and played loads of games.

The hostel was on five acres of land.

Views from the hostel of the river Dart.

Anna-Kate playing musical statues. The older girls had curled her hair and she looked lovely.

Anna-Kate posing for her dad with her curls!

3 more backpacks for Bonza Blue.

Had three more orders over Christmas and New - Year I made them while hubby and kiddies were away in Devon.
Best of all the orders were from previous customers !

Christmas and New Year are over now.

Welcome 2007.

But before we say good-bye to 2006 let us have a last look at my Christmas cake. I cheated this year and bought it from Tesco!

I don't trust my 'new' oven off Ebay. So went the safe route. It may not be my creation but it looked Christmasy and tasted great !
