As part of a birthday swap I stitched a bird embroidery, inspired by a picture in an old crafting magazine.I am impressed by both the Australian and British postal service as it arrived not only in time but on her birthday - and I thought that it would be late due to all the Christmas post!

I couldn't believe it arrived on the day itself! Really pleased with everything, the shawl is already keeping me warm in my cold house, the birds garland is hanging in my bedroom and I'm thinking of a good place for the bird embroidery. Will take a picture once I've mastered my new camera! Thanks for everything - it was a lovely birthday box :-)
