Tuesday - time is flying !

I have been busily working on my purple and pink quilt - I am re-doing my course work in the same colour theme ... this weekend I have completed Grandmother's garden block, the tumbling blocks block, a log cabin block, a crazy patchwork block and am working on the Celtic Knot ! I love Celtic Knots. Wow that actually sounds like a lot of work - but it has not been too bad !

So I have been working on 5 blocks this weekend and I have another couple made up already in this colour scheme - so they are adding up. I want at least 16 blocks to do 4 by 4 but would prefer 4 by 5 or 5 by 5 .... we shall see.

This is some of the original colour scheme - my first quilt block ever - dug it out so I could re-use the freezer paper to make the purple block. Not sure what I will do with it now !

The crazy patchwork block. Needs trimming down the the correct size and I was wondering about decorative stitching but have no time this week LOL !

A quick snapshot of the Celtic Knot. Almost finished it .... am a little tired tonight may do a few more stitches but my book is calling me ...

Now they are both in bed and I may head that way soon !
